Hi Marion, I sort of figured that the first Jane died hence the second Jane. I found Hezekiah through the New South Wales births deaths and marriages site, which lists he and Elizabeth as Williams parents. Williams son Harold was my grandfather. The family lived around the south coast of New South Wales until the 1930's when Harold and a number of his brothers and his sister moved north to Queensland looking for work. They where farm labourers. They settled on the Gold Coast hinterland for a period of time and finally moved to Gympie Queensland, which is where my parents met, married and still live. My grandfather Harold and his wife, Bridget are both buried in the cementary at Gympie. They both died in late 1963. One of Harolds's brothers Norman stayed behind and members of his family still live in the Bega area, in fact the local member of parliament is a Steven Watt. I am not a direct relative of his but I would think that we are both related to Hezekiah. I do not have any photos of Hezekiah, but I have only been doing this for a very short time. My dad has a photo of William and his wife Ellen and a number of his children including Harold, my grandfather. Two of my dads cousins still live in the Bega area and would probably be worth talking too. They are Clyde Watt and Beryl Schaefer, I do not have their numbers with me but as I said they both live in the Bega area. Last time I spoke to Beryl, which was a couple of years ago she mentioned about the Araluen connection. Over the coming weekend I will speak with Clyde and see if I can find out anything else. I will pass on anything I find out. If you are interested in knowing more about Williams side of the family let me know and I will pass on the information. My direct email address is len.watt@pview.com.au Bye for now Len Notify Administrator about this message?
