Have just started researching Watt family history. Hezekiah is my great great grand father, and the son of John and Elizabeth Watt. I have found that he arrived on the Elizabeth as an assisted immigrant in 1845 aged 19. He married Elizabeth Campbell in either Braidwood or Araluen in 1855. They had 8 childern that I am aware of. My great grand father was William b:1868, he was the brother of Margaret b:1872. The others that I have found are Elizabeth b:1858, Jane b:1865, another Jane b:1867, Samual b:1871, Elijah b:1874 and David b: 1878. They were all born in the Braidwood district. I do not know much about Hezekiah, I am interested to find out where he came from and more about his ancestors and descendants. Would also be interested in more information about Elizabeth Campbell, his wife.
