Hi Robert
This is what I call my in-law family.
John Herbert Foulds married Maud Manns (Nee MacCarthy) around 1920. They had 2 children Marybride and John Patrick. Maud's parents were Dr Charles William MacCarthy and Marion Cuddihy.
Maud's father was previously married to a Anastasia Cantwell and they had 3 children (John, Mary & Alice). Their eldest son John Louis married my great, great aunt Elizabeth Wells and they moved to San Francisco USA in 1905.
I have tried to follow this family whenever I hit a brick wall in my immediate family history.
I have little contact with John Patrick but it is by snail mail and he is not into family tree so has not provided much history of his family.
So I would appreciate any information that you have on John and Maud. I have read one of her books and have obtained a copy of one by Malcolm McDonald about John but they give very little in the way of family details.
