I am looking for any information about this couple and any of their ancestors. They were my maternal grandmother's parents. She was born Annie Watt in 1897 in Gartly Parish in Aberdeenshire. Her father was listed as a blacksmith. I have a photocopy of my grandmother's birth register and there is a Drubuly (sp?)listed, again in Gartly, and the date January 13, 1883, which may be their wedding date. I cannot trace this line any further back than my grandmother's parents. I do know that Alexander and Mary Ann had 12 children--Helen, George, Mary Ann, John, Lizzie, Annie (my grandmother), Meg, Noel (who lived one day), Disney (who was a POW in Germany during WWII), Herbert, and a stillborn girl. My grandmother emigrated to the US (Montana) and George emigrated to Canada. All of the other chilren remained in Scotland. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
