I am seeking parents of John Watt born 1829 Aberdeenshire. All I have is that the father was James Watt and mother Mary. No dates. This sounds like your James Watt and Mary Allan.

John Watt emigrated to Australia and married a Mary Emily Eliza Poulson in 1860 at Sofala, NSW.
