Thanks for the reply. My most recent Watt ancestor was Elisabeth Watt, bap. 1767 in Oyne, md. William Bannerman 1798 Oyne, died 1854 Culsalmond. Her children were named Bannerman, of course.
Her father was James Watt. Mother unknown. Elisabeth had siblings Sarah, James, and John, bap. 1760, 1762, 1765 in Oyne. James Watt junior md. Christian Watt (maiden surname) 1788 in Oyne.
