Thanks for the answer, Missy.

I really don't have much. My gal, Alzina Mariah Watrous was born in NY in 1827 to parents born in NY. She marries William Gee in 1846 in Warrick Co., IN were they live until the mid 1850's and raise their family in Osceola Co., Iowa, where they die and are buried. William's brother and some of his kids are in Jackson Co., IA on the census next door to each other!

I have a Horace Watrous in IA at this time that I am hoping is her brother, but I haven't check to see if he's even from NY yet!

I have found a family that has some of the names in this family and some go thru Warrick & Jackson Co, IA, also.

I think Walter Watrous and Hester Smith are her parents or grandparents. See my response to G.E. below you in this forum for more detail. Also, I have posted other queries in this forum for them. Just search for 'Linda Curtis' to see them all!

Who are you looking for?
Linda
