I am very interested in Col. Armistead Watlington. Their daughter Elizabeth Armistead Watlington married Maj. Peter Barksdale in Prince Edward, VA. They may have lived in NC later, but both were born in VA. The Col. in Gloucester, and Susanna in Prince Edward. This is also where Elizabeth was born.
Please send me what ever you have on this family, stories, mainly about how he was a hero of the American Revolution.
