My grandfather's name was John Henry Watkis. He was born in Panama,in 1886 to a family that was from St. Ann in Jamaica. I know very little about his siblings, but I do know that he had a younger brother named Wesley Wellington Watkis. He eventually moved to Brooklyn, New York with his wife, my grandmother, the former Agnes Young and their five children, Settuce, Henry, Clinton, Crafton, and Roy. I was raised in Brooklyn, but now live in Boston. I am also curious about other Watkis family members. The fact that you also have a St. Ann connection leads me to believe that we might be related. Who knows.
