Robert Parker, father of Elizabeth who married John Watkins will is dated Jan 15, 1687 and was proved Mar 2, 1687. Children were: John Parker who married Martha Tandy and d in 1712, Ann who married Thomas Winslow, Joseph, Elizabeth, Mary and Ann.
He is not the son of Thomas Parker. Thomas' son, Robert, married Margaret UNK. Thomas' will is dated Aug 22, 1697 and proved Mar 10, 1698. Thomas' and Elinor's children were: Robert who married Margaret Unk.,Ann m John Cardin, Jeremiah m Rebeckah Unk., Unknown dau who died in 1681, Thomas Jr., John, Abner, Samuel, and Elinor.
That being said, I don't know if there is a connection between the two lines. It looks as though there might be but as of yet, the only confirmed sibling of Thomas is a sister named Sarah who married Richard Goode.
I would appreciate it if you could post the will of John whose wife is Ann if you have it. There was an Ann who was the widow of Adam Denning, Essex Co., VA. Denning died before March 8, 1711. On Aug 9, 1711: "Inventory of Adam Denning presented in Court by John Watkins and Ann his wife, administrators." I have no idea who this John Watkins was.
Also just ran across a William Watkins & wife Alice of Hanover Parish, Prince William Co.- deed in Essex Co. dated Nov 12 & 13 1731 to Joseph Dimillo of Southfarnham Parish in Essex Co. 300 acres-land in Southfarnham Parish. Any idea who this William was?
