WATKINS-William (1740) & Rachel MULLENS
I am looking for anyone related to William WATKINS (b. 1740 in WALES?) who was married to Rachel MULLEN Watkins (b. 1740 in Scotland or Ireland--d. 1839 in Ohio?).This Wm. Watkins is listed in DAR by a Clarrisa ? who was from Mississippi, I believe. Is there anyone out there who can help me out?I would love to get in touch with anyone connected with this family.
I am ESPECIALLY interested in knowing if someone has traced either William or Rachel back any farther than the time they lived near Ellicott City, MD.According to family--William and two brothers came to America from Wales.William was a stonemason who help build the mills in Ellicott City, MD (near Baltimore). What were the brothers' names?Where did they go?
