Sarah Waters DeWalt is my 3rd great grandmother. In 1992, I found her grave stone and have a picture of it. I don't know if it is the Robertson cemetery, but there was a Robertson House with a historical marker about a half mile away. This is what is written on the marker:
SACRED To the memory of Sarah Wife of Daniel DeWalt
Dec of S.C. A daughter of Philemon and Ruth Llewellyn WATERS Born in Newberry Dist SC Sept 13, 1799 Departed this life in Washington Co. Texas Sept 8, 1867
I believe the birth date may be incorrect since most of what I have found has her being born in 1793. Her brother, Jonathon Dawson Waters lived in what is now Sienna Plantation and Arcola in Ft. Bend County, TX. Her son, Thomas Waters DeWalt, my GG Grandfather, lived in Ft. Bend County in present day Missouri City. In the 1960's, it was still called DeWalt, Texas.
