Thank you. That pretty much confirms what I had: Ephraim Dennett m. Lydia Waterhouse dau. of Timothy Waterhouse and Ruth Moses. I have Ephraim and Lydia as living in Portsmouth, NH - in the Dennett House, also called the "Beehive House" for the shape of the chimney. I did find mention of three other children besides Jeremiah: Phoebe bapt. 31 JUL 1744, dau. of Ephraim by his first marriage, and two sons - both named Ephraim: one b. 4 AUG 1754 - d. 5 MAR 1755 and the other b. 20 JUN 1756 - d. 16 APR 1759. This comes from the Dennett folder in the Portsmouth, NH Athenaeum - information in the folder is from W. S. Dennett of Saco, ME; this folder is the only place that I found mention of the two Ephraims, and the folder does not mention Phoebe; I found her in "Portsmouth Families" by L. H. Tallman who lists the source of his information as "North Church Records, Notes of Agnes P. Bartlett."
