Hi Ms Burgar,
Thanks for your information about Dr. Noel Waterfield. Kind of you to go to the trouble.
I can't recall what I said in my initial question, ages ago. Dr. Waterfield was a colleague of Dr. John B. Christopherson whose biography I have almost finished writing. It has taken six years.
I'm looking for his private and UNpublished papers in particular so see what he had to say about his time in Sudan and about the man he worked for, Dr. Christopherson.
Just in case anyone has any thoughts.
I have been in touch with a nephew which was helpful.
