Samuel Waterfield was my grandmother, Florence's only brother. She came to New Zealand to join her widowed mother - Amelia, and two sisters - Elizabeth Waterfield Barron and Emily Waterfield Longworth. Descendants of all three women live in NZ. My grandmother, Florence married my grandfather Samuel Devereux in Leigh, Lancs in 1904. My late Uncle Pierre Devereux met some members of the Waterfield family in Utah/Carbon City many years ago but we do not have current contact details. We unfortunately do not have contact with the English Waterfields.
It would be a real pleasure to learn more about your husband's Waterfield family which I presume is living in the US. At the same time, we can bring you up to date with local Waterfield descendants.
