I am a decendent of James Wasson (shoemaker) from County Tyrone Ireland (born 1796) who migrated to Australia around 1844 -1850, died 20/8/1875 aged 80yrs. He was married to Catherine Barnes (formerly McGrath) who was born in Newtown Stewart, Tyrone in Ireland but was altered to Ardstragh they had 5 children Eliza Jane (Born 1811) , Mary Ann (Born 1821), Robert (Born 1823), Joseph (Born 1822) and Thomas (Born 1835).
Thomas above was born in Newtown Stewart, Tyrone, Ireland (DOB 23/4/1865) he married Sarah Jane McCrath in Philadelphia Pennsylvania USA - children from marriage - Joseph, James, Mary Emma, Catherine, Martha Jane.
Joseph above was born in Ardstragh, Tyrone Ireland his spouse was Julia Elizabeth Howard. The children from the marriage were Alexander Charles, Joseph Henry, Margaret Jane, Catherine, Thomas, James, William and John.
Would be grateful for any information in regards to James Wasson above from County Tyrone.
