First of all, take down my email address:
I do not know your grandfather, unfortunately. This appears to be the Eastern Wasilewski family. I've been trying to find the missing link between the eastern and western Wasilewski's for a while now, while building the family tree. It's not been easy, as the majority of the family is overly secretive, and there have been name changes since the russian revolution. The Wasilewski's are originally from the Polo-Lithuanian Empire, and a part went to western Poland a few hundred years ago, hence they have a different Herb (Rogala, rather than Drzewica). The rest stayed in the east until the revolution, and some still remain there, though mostly in buried form.
Don't worry about the English or Polish, je suis presque fluent en Francais, mais pas quant j'ecrire, et j'ai des problemes avec la conjugation.
