Before I say too much I would like to know why you think all this connects to George Washington other then the names.

You notice I talked about the actor Randolph Scott who would be working in Hollywood California for sure. He was married to Marion Dupont. Both of them lived at President James Madisons home for a time. That's how I track people by their occupation and location. Do you know what your grandparents were doing for a living in California?

I will say this. Fielding Lewis Jr, the grandson of Betty Washington was married to Nancy Ann Alexander. Betty Washington was George Washington's sister. Fielding Lewis Jr would be Meriwether Lewis second cousin. This is my interest since my family made the 1800 Pittsburgh census record as boat builders at the time when Meriwether Lewis had his boat built in Pittsburgh.

Like you I have a coincidence I am working on.
