Frances A. Ebner, 86, of Glendon, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, in Easton Hospital. Born: March 26, 1916, in Easton, a daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Beatrice Rice Washburn. Personal: She and her husband, John "Jack" J. Sr., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 28, 2002. She enjoyed Bingo and bowling at Bar-Don lanes in Palmer Township. She was a 1932 graduate of Easton High School. Memberships: She was a member of the former Glendon United Methodist Church, where she had been a member of the Dorcas Society and Choir. Survivors: her husband,: two sons, John J. Jr. of palmer Township and Jeffrey J. at home; two daughters, Arlene F. Koch of Williams Township and Bonnie Schippers of Missouri City, Texas; two sisters, Eleanor Hartranft of Palmer Township and Mary Frank of Wilson Borough; six grandchildren; and great-grandson. A brother Frank Washburn Jr., and a sister, Bertha Tulba, both died earlier. Services: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Strunk Funeral Home Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call from 10:a.m. to time of services Saturday in the funeral home. Burial in the Northampton Memorial Shrine.
