Susan, thank you for your information. I have some of what you told me but the George in the war of 1812 was new. I am un sure if Reuben Washburn was a relative I think he may be the brother of Gideon who was James and Mary (Bowden)'s son. Joseph Rice Washburn was born in harland Vt. his father James was born in mass then died in Woodstock Vt. Thanks for the info on Fred's marriage my dates were incorrect. Sarah
