Dear Mrs. Muckey:
Could your brother-in-law have been named Jud? I have been searching for a Jud Hoffman who appears on the genealogy sites ten or twelve years ago; from his postings, it appears that he and I have a common ancestor, Benjamin A. Washburn (1763 to 1847), of Shelby Co. KY. One of Benjamin's sons, Samuel, moved to Missouri in the 1840s. I would certainly appreciate a reply, whether the answer is yes or no.
