[Headline] Mrs. Wilbur Bisbing, Was Easton Resident
Mrs. Emma J. Bisbing, 83, of 503 Wilkes-Barre st., died early yesterday at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Bisbing was the widow of Wilber B. Bisbing who died in 1942. Born in Weissport, on April 9, 1877, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Emma Weise Washburn.
She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are a son, Wilber W., at home; a daughter, Isabelle, wife of Herbert H. Volk, Easton: a brother, John J. Washburn, Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Otto Klaner and Mrs.Paul Klaner; both of Patterson, N.J.; a grandson, Joseph H. Volk, Easton, and two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Volk is an employee of the Easton Express.
The funeral will be held a 11 a.m. Saturday at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton.
