Thank you Ernest for the reply although I never got it. I just spotted it when I got a message today.
My William, son of James had in his bio that his father came to Missouri in 1810. We have no proof but some of us think James's wife was Elizabeth Haverstick. Only clues are the Washburns and Haversticks had adjoining properties and James and Elizabeth named a son Rudolph, the name of the next door neighbor Haverstick. Also, their son William and his wife named a son George W.D. the same name as given at the Haverstick property. Not concrete clues, nor enough to put her as a Haverstick but it gives us hope. We haven't figured out the middle name of William H. could it be Haverstick? Once again, thanks for the message. I'm still not certain James was the son of Reuben. Still looking. Colleen
