My husband is a descendant of John Washbrooke who was born in Great Alne around 1804. John married Ann Kendrick in 1827, but she died in 1843 then he married an Elizabeth, surname unknown at present.

John and Ann's children were John, born 1832, Hannah born 1837 and George born 1844. My husband descends from George.

John and Elizabeth had a daughter Harriet born in 1849.

There may have been other children but I am not aware of them yet.

I don't know if this John Washbrooke's father was the John Washbrooke who married Ann Wiles in 1803, but it does sound possible. If anyone has any more information I'd love know.

Kay Long
