My husband's grandfather was named Abraham Wartelsky. He was born around 1861 and Immigrated to New York in 1880. He and his wife Annie (Hannah Rachel) were from Suwalki, Poland (Russia at the time) and had 6 children born in US.

Abraham apparently was one of 11 or 12 children. Known brothers are Barnett and Zelig who came to New York. We don't have anything concrete about the rest of the siblings.

Does this sound like part of your family?
