Since I wrote that post (only hours ago) I have some new information.
I located Robert T. Warrington (Feb 1848) on the 1900 federal census for Silver Bow, with his wife Margaret (March 1861) and daughters Laura (July 1882) and Mary (Oct 1884). Robert lists his birthplace as New Jersey, as he does with his parents. The girls also list his PoB as New Jersey, which I mention because on the 1910 census (which Mary herself enumerated), she lists his PoB as Pennsylvania and mom's as Ohio (I had them backward, based on info someone sent me).
Because the information on the 1900 census is from Robert T. himself, I'm going to assume it's correct.
I found Robert, Laura and Mary (but not Margaret) in a 1902 Butte city directory, also.
Margaret lists her PoB as Ohio, and her parents as Delaware (?) for pop, and Ireland for mom. Pop's PoB is very hard to read. It could be anything.
I've also located a Robert T. Warrington in St Paul, MN in 1882 - perfect for the birth of Laura.
About 90% of the information I've just provided you is from my work this afternoon.
I've only skimmed the 1910 census a bit. It's unsearchable on Ancestry, so I am going through it one page at a time. Slow, but as you can see - effective.
