I was always told as a child that Warrillow was the name of a Lord Mayor of Briminghamshire (not entirely sure of place) in the UK in the 1800's- he had nine daughters and two sons.... one son ran off to Australia (Sydney) after being disowned and the other never married so the daughters were asked to carry on the name instead, hence I am Warrillow- Williams and I have some distant cousins in Germany the Warrillow-Pickerings. (There are photos that I have seen of the Lord Mayor and his family, which my family found in a museum in England).
I was also told that the assumed origin of the name is from Russia, apparently many Russian Naval officers moved to London at a time when the British were trying to improve their fleet... that's as much as I can tell you... many Australians with the name Warrillow spell it Warrilow. I hope I have been of some help.
