I have found most histories state Jean/Jane Warrick as being the daughter of William and Elizabeth Dunlap Warrick. Also that Jane was killed by Indians in 1758 leaving five children. If my birth estimates are right she was born about 1733and possibly as late as 1740. She would have been 25 when killed if b. 1733, only 18 if in 1740. Also states her sister Martha was also killed by Indians in 1758/9. Are we sure that Jane was the daughter of William and Elizabeth and what more do we know about Martha. She was married to John Stevenson Major. My ancestor is Jacob m. to Mary Powell and he is a brother to Jean//Jane. If you know anything more about this family would appreciate hearing .
