My great grandfather was John Worix. I tried to get some information from my Grandmother about her side of the family but she does not really know anything. She said that she thinks her Grandfather was Tom Worix. As you can tell not much information to work with just possabilities and no idea about birth or deaths on any of them. I could really use some help with any information that anyone might have!! I know that my grandma was born in NC on may 26 1934. Her name is Emma Worix and that she had a sister named Fay Virginia born in 1928 and another sister joanne born about 1930 and Darlene born in 1932. Then a brother born august 10 1936. I think all her sisters died farely early ages her brother is still alive as is she. Emma married Calvin Lock. Calvin was born Jan 6 1926 and he died just last year. John Worix Sr was born 1887 (sorry that is all she knows did not know exact date) and he married Elizabeth King who was born Jun 18 1911. That is pretty much the only information that I have. Please if anyone has any information I would really appreciate it.
