I CAN ONLY RESTATE....JOHN WARREN (1618-1692/5) CAME TO MARYLAND IN CA. 1638.....HIS PARENTS AND ANCESTRY UNKNOWN TO ME...AND HE IS NOT A "POYNTON WARREN" MY THOUGHTS WERE WITH THE EARLIER GENERATIONS (IF KNOWN) OF YOUR JOHN WARREN, BORN 1805...IT WOULD MAKE IT EASIER TO FOLLOW THE LINE BACKWARDS AND SEE IF IT DEFINATELY CONNECTS TO THE JOHN WARREN, THE CATHOLIC IMMIGRANT OR NOT...
