Roxy --
This is GOOD STUFF!Many thanks for the heads up.However, this is NOT my line of Warrens -- I am pretty sure that I go back through Levi Warren of Penfield, Monroe Co., NY, (now a SE suburb or Rochester), and his Father, Isaac Warren of Lanesboro, MA, and NOT Lyman Warren.I merely posted published histories on theLyman > William Whipple Warren family that I was able to dredge up.
Please, for the sake of all those who actually ARE related to your Ojibwe line of Warrens and have followed this thread, REPOST what you have just posted to my message at the top of this GenForum as the FIRST message in its own new thread. This way, the very important information you have just posted to me will be seen by ALL, and not just get lost in the shuffle.
Additionally, I am certain that Norma Kirchhofer, our "local" Warren surname historian, as well as myself, would be highly interested in following what further accurate, informative and corrective information and enlightenment you might be able to provide on this subject, so long as it does not bring possible harm to the integrity or security of your personal files.
Respectfully,
Mike Collier
