How to find what area a regiment is from

It has been awhile since I posted on this subject but I was wondering if there is anyway of finding out the dates for the 2 records of Zebina Andrus? Also what area of NY were the regiments from. I am starting to believe that there were two Zebina's. Zebina C and mine ancestor. It would have been easy to change the Z to an S for whoever was writing the documents. Both were born around the same time and both died around the same time
