How do you know he received the 100 acres of land? He purchased land in Indiana, but I have not seen any mention of land for service. (I too have a subscription to Ancestry). I was looking for any other military mentions of him. He also went by Netheldred and Dred. He doesn't seem to have received a pension at all as I did a few searches on the National Archives and the Internet Archive. I had a hard time following his service as he seems to have jumped around in regiments; I was interested in finding the details of those regiments while he served...like what battles they were involved in. Thanks again for your help.
