Fort Erie battle August & Sept 1814 Niagra Frontier

My 3rd G Grandfather fougt there at Fort Erie and crossing the Niagra River. with Capt.Ira Wilson's Company of the New York detached Militia with Lieut. Col. John McMahan's Regiment. He served from Aug 5, to Nov 8, 1814. I would like to learn more details of this battle. could anyone suggest a book on this or would like to share information about this?
