Need any info available on service of Lt. Ezekiel Jewett of Rindge, NH who first enlisted with the 11th Infantry Rgt as a 2nd Lt, after being a Capt in his local militia.
He may have served in the 26th Inf. at Plattsburgh, but is known to have been at Sackets Harbor, and thought to have fought at Lundy's Lane & Ft Erie. Was supposedly a 1st Lt by 1815 & breveted to Capt at Sackets Harbor just prior to being mustered out by the formal retrenchment of the army.
