William RASH- VA or IN
Posted by: David Hamilton (ID *****3898) Date: April 26, 2010 at 17:52:13

I am looking for information on my GGGG- Grandfather William RASH (B. ~1788 VA)

He was born in VA and lived most of his life throughout Indiana (mainly in Randolph Co.)

An 1880 Randolph Co., IN census record mentions that he was in the War of 1812 and I am trying to further investigate this. I am not too familiar with researching wars or military service. The only source I have for him being in that war is on that census.

Any help or jump start in the right direction would be awesome and much appreciated.
