Came across an excerpt from Diary of Ensign William Schillinger -recording the death of Ohio Milita man Charles
"Murrey" died June 1, 1813 Fort Amanda Ohio.
Schillinger served from Hamilton County Ohio in Captain Calyton Webb's Company although listed as a PRIVATe{?}
Who was "Murrey" did not find him listed On Ohio Roster of War of 1812 soldiers. Was Schillinger an Ensign or a Private?
