Youngblood's 1st SC Regiment Militia
Posted by: Paul Bartley (ID *****3692) Date: June 19, 2009 at 12:38:03

My ancestor, David Langley, later of Edgefield Co./96 District, was in Youngblood's 1st SC Regiment Militia during the War of 1812. Not sure he lived in Edgefield at that time. What counties/districts of SC did Youngblood's Regiment represent or what part of SC did the soldiers of the Youngblood's 1st live? And, any ideas where can I find the history (battles, engagements, call to arms, etc.) of Youngblood's 1st?
Many Thanks,
