W7262-BLW#19751-160=55, VA line, soldier was born 1751 in halifax co. va. and lived in pittsylvania co. va. at enlistment. soldier applied there 22 aug 1832 and soldier died there 28 april 1850. soldier had married beshabe newbill or newbelll on 4 may 1818 in pittsylvania. widow applied 1853 in casewell, n.c. a resident of milton, n.c., having moved there in 1851, widow was still living in 1868
