Lillian,

I have Ancestry.com's lists of veterans from the War of 1812 and there are only three Waugh's serving from Pennsylvania.

1st Sergeant James Waugh, Christy's 135th PA Militia, roll box 220, roll record 2113

Private John Waugh, Cobean's Battalon, PA Militia, roll box 220, roll record 21145

Private Samuel Waugh, Christy's 135th PA Militia, roll box 220, roll record 2131

John Waugh, from above, may have become an officer after the war and rose to the rank of major.

Roll box and roll record is the listing on where their service records are located at the National Archives.

Eric
