I am trying to place the right William Proctor who served in the War of 1812 in the TN Militia in Capt Porter's Co. and obtained Bounty Land in MO. He was deceased bef. 1863, although I do not know when. He left some of the Bounty land in amt of 80 acres to a minor son. I need help on this one. Anyone who can get to these records and look for me please send me the info. I can't seem to find him.
I have the above info, off of the bounty land grant, about this man and his heir.
