Warnack Family Genealogy Forum

I am interested in the descendants of Frederick Christian and Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) Warnack. Frederick was born in Prussia about 1770, lived in Montgomery County PA until about 1804, and settled in Greene County and Knox County TN where he died in 1821. He was an owner of Eagle Paper mill. Known children were (1)Isaac Edward Warnack (c1800-after 1880) who married Nancy Lones and migrated to Upper Alton, Madison County IL in the late 1830s (2) Hellene or Elinor who married John Chapman in 1819 (3) Henry Daniel (c1804-c1840) who married Asena Chapman and migrated to IL with his brother (4) William Christian (c1807-c1840) who married Nancy Morrow (1810-1835) and whose children remained in Knox TN with their uncle Samuel Morrow (5) Elizabeth about whom nothing is known. Frederick's uncle was Lieutenant Colonel Frederick Warnack of the Virginia Line in the War for Independence, and Frederick served as administrator of his uncle's estate and disposed of some bounty land in Barren County KY.
Of the family members who settled in IL, it is known that a number of them became involved in the pottery trade and that their stoneware is now a valued collectible. Isaac had several children including four sons: (1) Frederick C. (1824-c1906) who served in the Mexican War and settled in St Louis (2) Henry (c1831-c1890) who lived in Upper Alton (3) Thomas about whom nothing is known (4) George about whom nothing is known except that he was a bachelor in his father's household as late as 1880. Isaac had also daughters Susan who married a Mr. Randle and MInerva, about whom nothing is known. Henry had only two sons, Henry and Thomas about whom nothing is known. It is not known whether Elinor had children. William had a son, William C. (1831-c1895) and a daughter Ann Eliza (b1832) who married a Mr Connick and migrated ultimately to Louisiana.
Any additions or corrections to this information would be greatly appreciated.
