Thanks for the info on Warks in Ayrshire Wendy. I can't connect immediately but I suspect that they are relations of mine. My ancestor Barbara Wark from Beith, Ayrshire married James Wallace 25 June 1796. He was from Renfrewshire and the marriage was registered in both Beith and in Greenock, Renfrewshire. I'd certainly be interested in anyone else searching the name in that area of the world.
