Do you know if any of your Warks went over to Ireland before immigrating to the United states? I have been looking for David Wark (spouse Margaret Stevenson), who, in citizenship papers dated 1813, gave only that he is "of Ireland" and that he had been in state of Pennsylvania upwards of 18 years, the number is unclear, but it would have indicated he crossed before 1800. His son Hugh, I have traced down to myself, and one other brother (William) has been traced into Michigan; Both men were in Tuescarwas County, Ohio, then moved on to Owen County, Indiana. My family moved on to Jackson County, Kansas. Thus I have hit a dead end. Have wondered if maybe they went to Canada first, as I have had no luck finding them on any early ships.

Thank you Sincerely, Marge Wark Lingerfelt
