Sorry for the delay in following up on you message, but my router has been playing up and we seem to have lost a number of emails.
I think your "John Waring" is in fact John Moore Johnson Waring, cabinet maker, born in Ireland and moved to Liverpool in the early 1800s one of his sons was Samuel James Waring, founder of S J Waring & Sons later known as Waring & Gillow, my wife Lynn Littler, nee Waring is related to that line.
