I am preparing a biographical sketch of this individual for inclusion in a projected book on the Freemasons of Antebellum Fredericksburg, VA. I would welcome any information about him.

Epaphroditus Lawson Waring (c1796-1821), War of 1812 veteran, medical doctor, Westmoreland Co. VA. Married Eliza Stuart Bankhead, 30 Oct 1817. Died 1 May 1821. Obit, Richmond Enquirer, 25 May 1821, p. 3.

Son of Robert Payne Lawson (1746-99) of Essex Co., VA. Brother-in-law of noted KY Baptist clergyman Silas Mercer Noel (1783-1839).
