Hi Dave!
A definate new cousin and I am sooooo very thrilled to hear of and from you!Thank you for contacting me directly, as I seldom check in here.I again am so very happy to meet a new cousin !Where do you live?I am in Montreal.
John Henry was a son of John Moore Johnson Waring, and brother to Samuel, who was the father of Lord Samuel James of Nikki's line and yours. You and Nikki are from Samuel's lineage I take it, and Lynn Littler and I are from John Henry's. As Nikki has mentioned, there are other cousins in connection too, and so we are fondly growing !!WOW !! John Henry's youngest boy was John Walter, and this John Walter is my great grandfather. So in reference to your line & Nikki's, my line or say from John Walter, he would have been first cousin to your ancestry.John Walter, my great grandfather worked for the African Steamship Company, & died at sea too!His widow and daughter were here in Montreal at that time, and stayed on, so here we are today. As Nikki has mentioned, we have some info on our family, back to John of 1585 going to Ire. in the first place, but I have never heard of him fighting in Cromwell's army prior to that, and would love to hear more of this great info.Do you know which part of Lancashire this family was from?As we all meet up, it seems that there is more to learn on ours, and most definately, there is a great awe in finally getting together, meeting up with new & yet old family - so long overdue and such a great joy. Please email me any time at [email protected], or here, although as said I rarely check in here.I do hope to hear from you and in the meantime, yes for sure I am still folowing, and always in search of my family of Warings.I have been trying to locate my Waring kin, for over 20 years and I appreciate that we have these opportunities!
TTFN
