Hello again,
Just pieced together some more info. that I have.It may not be entirely accurate but is a good guess if not.As I have it now, John Henry had the brother we know, Samuel of Waring and Gillow.John Henry may have had a sister I wonder, as he had a niece called Minnie Loveridge. That would imply that a sister to John Henry married a Loveridge and they had Minnie.
John Henry had 3 sons - Paul, Harry, and John Walter. He likely had a daughter Frances too, as she married a William T. Roberts.John Henry seems to have given up his part of the business due to ailing health, around the age of 80-83 years old.His son Harry, I think, had a hand in the Waring "and sons" business, perhaps so did Paul, one of the other boys.John Walter did not go into the business, he worked on ships.John was my great-grandfather, and his daughter, my grandmother, was in contact with John Henry until his death, and is how I have this information - from my grandmother.
Paul would have been born around 1867 and Harry had one son called Jack, and another whose name I am not sure of, and could be (?) Fred. There is a Fred A. Waring,in this part of the Waring Family.Jack had a son, name unknown as of now.
Lord Waring, brother to John Henry, had a daughter called Gladys, who married an "Captain" Critchley.Any other relatives to Lord Samuel, other than Gladys, I don't know, but I do know that at John Henry's death, there were many nieces and nephews and Warings, however, Samuel is not mentioned in the letter of people who attended JH Warings funeral in Liverpool.
I hope this helps some of us who are looking for this part of the tree, and I hope there may be some who have more parts to add to this branch.
Regards
Deb
