I found the info on a WWI medal which was with my late Father In Law's possessions. As far as I am aware he had no connection with the Warhurst family so how he came by the medal I have no idea. His family came from Birkenhead.
The medal has no ribbon and is the medal that all who served in WWI were awarded.
