Canadian Warford Passing Through Ellis Island
Posted by: Fred Date: March 07, 2002 at 19:39:57

Those who are researching the Warfords of Newfoundland should take a look at the Ellis Island site. I've noticed that there was a Joshua/Josiah Warford who passed through Ellis Island twice:1922 (age 34), and 1924 (age 37). He was a British subject. Both times he gave his residence as St John's, Newfoundland.

The site will give you the details of the ships, where they sailed from, and exact arrival dates at Ellis Island.
